FALL REGISTRATION

ANNOUNCING OUR FALL SCHEDULE
Our Fall Session will be September 25th - December 4th (No class 10/16 or 11/20).  Classes will be held at the Carlsbad Dove Library Meeting Room.

TUESDAYS
1:30-2pm Family Music for Babies and Toddlers (ages 0-3)
2:10-2:50pm Preschool Music Class (ages 3-5)
3:30-4:30pm Children's Performance Show Choir (ages 7-12)*

* We will accept up to (4) six year olds into this program.  Please e-mail us before registering a six year old to make sure there is still room.  

Family Music for Babies and Toddlers  (Newborn - 3 Years)
Participate with your child for 30 minutes each week in singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening, and playing simple instruments. These weekly classes are action-filled for toddlers - full of energy, often on the move, always exploring and learning - and their parents. Together you’ll sing, chant, move, dance, listen, and play simple instruments, all activities that bridge the natural connection between music and movement through four wonder-filled semesters.

Preschool Music Class (Ages 3-5)
Celebrate your child’s love of nature and growing independence through activities involving the four seasons (40 minute class). Developed to build attention and self-expression, activities include singing, chanting, moving, focused listening, musical games, exploring musical instruments, creative movement and storytelling. This class nurtures your growing child’s ability to use language and participate in dramatic play within a musical context.

Children's Performance Show Choir (Ages 7-12)*
Sound System Kids is proud to present the opportunity for children to participate in show choir. This performing group will meet weekly to learn songs and dances that will be performed at the semester's end. Boys and girls will enhance their ensemble singing and dancing skills, gain confidence in performing, and learn to work together as a team.  Vocal technique and music education will be emphasized during rehearsals.  Performances will be held in December and will include a variety of holiday songs.
