2013 Musical Theater Camp

Only 8 more days to take advantage of the early bird discount for our 2013 Musical Theater Camp.  This program is unique in that we have small enrollment and every single child has a big part with the opportunity to sing a solo song.  Every child will have their chance in the spotlight.  Some of our kids have used their solo songs for audition throughout the year and some performed them at school talent shows.  We are over halfway full, so sign up soon!  Here's all the info:

We are excited to announce that we are now registering for our Summer Musical Theater Camp!!! 

Ages: 7-12

Session Date: July 29th - August 2nd

Days: Monday - Friday

Time: 10am-1pm

Performance:  Saturday, Aug. 3rd, 11AM
Tuition (includes t-shirt, script, practice CD, ad head shot): $175 (before May 31st, reg. $195)

This play gives each child the opportunity to be in the spotlight.  Every child will experience singing a solo, performing group numbers, acting out lines, and working as a team.  In addition, we will take a professional head shot of each student and provide an 8x10 photo for use at future auditions.  We will also meet individually with each camper ahead of time to meet their personality and assign them a role.  Scripts and CD's will be provided prior to camp, so students can become familiar with them before camp begins.

Arts Program Transforms School

Look what is new at Show Choir rehearsal!!!!

Our Spring Showcase, featuring our Show Choir, is only a week from today!!!!

We added some new choreography and flashlights to one of our Show Choir numbers (Fireflies).  We turned off the lights at rehearsal last week and it looked awesome!  Not only that, the girls sound incredible! 

We are too excited to keep it a surprise, so here's a little sneak preview from last week's rehearsal (although, I did leave our favorite part out, so there will still be a surprise when you come watch it!!):

Congrats to two of our students who just won the Mission Estancia Elementary School Talent Show by performing a duet they learned at our Musical Theater Summer Camp last year!  Great job girls!

Carlsbad Premium Outlet Mall Easter Performance!

SOUND SYSTEM KIDS SHOW CHOIR SPRING 2013: 

After our beautiful Christmas performance in December, they loved our show choir so much they invited us to perform at the Carlsbad Premium Outlet Mall's Easter Event on March 31, 2013.  What a wonderful opportunity to bring more music to our community! We originally were planning on our first performance being in May, which meant our girls had to practice extra hard. They did amazing, even without the 5 extra rehearsals!  They brought life and energy to the huge crowd, full of friends, family and shoppers!  It is amazing what 18 girls, age 12 and under can do!  Congratulations to all of those who performed! You shined and brought joy to many!
